VOCAL GROUPS~~
BWHS Concert Choir is open to anyone in high school who wishes to sing. Emphasis will be placed on learning the fundamentals of music reading, vocal techniques, and stage performance. Students will perform in a minimum of 2 concerts per year and may have the opportunity to participate in OMEA choral events, music festivals, honor choir opportunities and spring trip. All rehearsals and performances are required by all members. 2011-2012 BWHS CHOIR OFFICERS President--Nate Fagan Vice President--Alexandria Mayhew Secretary--0 Period -- Nici Bregel 2nd Period -- Rachel Lyon 3rd Period -- Olivia Beckett 6th Period -- Charish Eschabacher BWHS Vocal Music Department committed to the Vocal Jazz concept in 2000. It is open to students who participate in one of the larger mixed choirs at the High School. As an elective, students rehearse during their lunch time and between classes. Members of BWHS Vocal Jazz Ensemble are selected on their competitive musical skills and improvisations. Each year, the group attends competitive festivals. They have won 1st and 2nd place awards at Music Festivals in New York City, Orlando, and Cincinnati in the Vocal Jazz Category.

After much deliberation and careful thought, the results for the 2011-2012 BWHS Vocal Jazz Select Ensemble are posted. There were MANY talented vocalists who auditioned which made this decision so difficult.
